Engineers, scientists and program managers at the Air Force Research Laboratory and at Wright Patterson Air Force Base have expressed interest in applying UNICORN™ to High Altitude, Long Endurance (HALE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. In 2004, the company began to explore the possibility of initiating a Government-funded program to support development of UNICORN™ for UAVs. The company is also working with program managers at Eglin Air Force Base to develop a program to accelerate the application of the TIICM™ MANPADS countermeasure system to commercial aircraft, for which the company will then seek funding from the Department of Homeland Security.
